"Rain Study: #001"

A large scale interactive string installation made from over 100,000 ft of nylon twine. Dynamic digital video content is projection mapped onto the strings illuminating the 1000s of strands. The overwhelming repetition of the string is meant to create a mesmerizing and dissociative environment, which enables visitors to be transported out of one reality and into another.

Jacob Fisher is a New York based installation artist known for his large-scale string and light work. He has pushed the boundaries of the way string can be used and transformed to create distinct forms & structures.
